Glencoe Scotland

The network for everyone with an interest in Scotland's most famous glen

As above.. I'm learning at the moment and would love the chance to play along with others, anyone else learning too, or willing to tolerate a slow learner?

Cheers!
Keith

Hi Keith

Depends on how good you are, I've just recently picked up my guitar again after an absence of 20 years so a bit rusty...and I wasn't that hot when I used to play, think I mastered the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald which only has a few chords.
Was thinking of joining the evening classes starting soon at the college - Thursday night for 8 weeks.
Have got a 12 year old rock star in the making as a guitar teacher so I'll be banging out Kasabian any day now, makes a change from Streets of London which is all I remember from the old days.

Come round one night when Louis is around and he'll give us a few pointers.

Hi Gordon (is this the "Clachaig" Gordon?)

I'm not that good. I've got a weekly lesson on the go but we've been concentrating on lead guitar so I haven't played any songs for a while. I did the beginners lessons at the college last time and managed to get Brown Eyed Girl down (3 chords!) Are they restarting a beginners night at the college, I couldn't see the detail on the website. Give me a shout if you fancy getting together at some point, we might be able to spur each other on (or deafen each other!).
