The Press & Journal today reports that the original document giving the order for the Glencoe Massacre will go on display at the National Library of Scotland this week.

Really good news. Glencoe Ski Centre looks like being saved. May open for the Winter.

Glencoe Visit 29 Oct to 1 Nov 2009

Have just returned from a four day trip to Glencoe and stayed at the wonderful and friendly Loch Leven Hotel.

We only had two days to do some walking and our aim was to tackle the Pap of Glencoe and Beinn a Chrulaiste. The weather was poor on both days but we set out to complete Beinn a Chrulaiste on the Friday in continuous and sometimes heavy rain and wind. Weather!

Woke up this morning wondering what was different . Took me a moment to realise that the sky has changed colour from dark grey to blue, that the sun is shining, and for the first time in about 6 weeks, its stopped raining! Wonderful!
